I'm Sam, a PhD student at Aberystwyth University, about to start my second year. My PhD is investigating value systems (cultural, environmental, economic) in Svalbard (an archipelago in the Arctic Circle) - if this sounds big and vague, it is a bit of a beast I am still working on taming!
I'm into participatory and ethnographic research methods and anything to do with nature-culture-more-than-human relationships, climate change action, arctic and polar geographies.
